TrainDL - Teacher training for Data Literacy & Computer Science competences

Young people are constantly encountering digital technologies in their everyday lives. Therefore, it is important that they learn how to evaluate them critically and use them effectively. But how can teachers be supported in preparing the next generation for the digital world?
To understand how to integrate the teaching of data literacy and AI competencies into teacher education, the project followed an iterative design process. The work was conducted across three clusters: policy, education, and evaluation.
As part of the Computing Education Research Group, my work contributed to the Education cluster. Our focus was on the didactic development and implementation of interventions in secondary-level teacher training. In each iteration, we designed and tested training modules.
